Microgratitude refers to the practice of appreciating small, often overlooked, positive moments in everyday life. It’s about noticing and being thankful for the little things that bring joy, comfort, or ease to your day, rather than solely focusing on large, significant events.
I find gratitude in things like seeing a cute dog enjoying a nice car ride; head out the window, tongue flapping in the wind. It’s a great thing.
I find gratitude in making a green stop light; if that traffic light holds green a moment longer than expected and allows me to safely cross through that intersection that’s a wonderful feeling.
